Ingredients:
- RWA Chicken Breast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 sandwich rolls or buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced red onions
- Pickles (optional)
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard (optional)
Steps:
- Clean the chicken breasts by rinsing them under cold water, then pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken breasts from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- While the chicken is resting, toast the sandwich rolls or buns in the skillet or a toaster until lightly browned.
- Spread mayonnaise (and mustard, if using) on the bottom halves of the sandwich rolls.
- Place a lettuce leaf on each roll, followed by slices of tomato and red onion.
- Slice the chicken breasts into strips or leave whole and place them on top of the vegetables.
- Add pickles if desired and cover with the top halves of the sandwich rolls.
